Medical gut is usually made of collagen material, the main components are glycolic acid and lactic acid, aseptic packaging.

Classification

Contains chrome gut, flat gut, aseptic packaging. The medical gut is divided into two types: chrome and flat. The specifications are divided into four types according to the diameter of the line: 0.04mm-1.16mm. Use the appropriate specifications for clinical surgery.

Chrome gut: The gut line made from the raw material of the sheep casing after being infused with a chromium compound solution.

Flat gut: The gut of the raw sheep casing without chromium treatment.

Both the chrome line and the flat line are not dyed (the chrome line is green due to the chrome content).
